Tristan Lim (b.1993, Singapore) is a visual artist primarily working with drawing, painting and digital media. His practice uncovers semiotic relationships between disparate things. Tristan’s work often addresses the material state of these mediums, surfacing tension between flatness and dimensionality. Tristan completed his Bachelor in Fine Arts from LASALLE College of the Arts in 2018. His work has been featured in group exhibitions at Ota Fine Arts, The Arts House, SAM at 8Q and Institute of Contemporary Art, LASALLE College of the Arts. He also participated in the Facebook Artist-in-Residence (AIR) programme and was a recipient of the Winston Oh Travelogue Award (Research) in 2018.
