Jazel Kristin is a documentary filmmaker and intermedia artist. Her practice combines photography, video, sound, collage, performance and installation. Her themes are always connected to her travels which she translates into narratives about displacement and finding home.
Jazel’s work has been locally exhibited at the Silverlens Galleries, Alliance Francaise de Manille, Blanc Gallery, Secret Fresh, UP Vargas Museum, Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP), 98B Collaboratory, CASA San Miguel and VOCAS in the Philippines. Internationally, her work has been showcased in Hong Kong and France. She completed residencies with Cite Internationale des Arts in Paris, France by the Mairie de Paris (2010), Santorini & Athens, Greece (2015) and in CASA San Miguel, Zambales, Philippines (2013 & 2017).
