Rodriguez’s portfolio of artworks includes installations, drawings, prints, objects, and videos that allude to multiple tactile histories. The heart of her work lies in connecting gaps and fragments of memories, places and identities. Her projects allow her to think about image and object production amidst the daily dose of technology mixed with post-modern. She views her work as an extension of one’s inward investigations since they are autoethnographic. She embeds narratives extracted from archival research as well as non-digital human interactions. Rodriguez works towards new configurations in the form of the tactile and the sensory (at times participatory) art projects in this age of fascination for the instantaneous but distressing world filled with optical pleasure.
